I trust that Intuit is doing all they can to keep them secure, but there’s no way to both be able to access those credentials for their legitimate use and keep them totally safe from anyone else accessing them for illegitimate use. And don’t waste your time, I have a BofA checking and savings account too and they’re connected with my MLBO account (via the BofA app) but it doesn’t make a difference on the Mint app, when I’m logged into Mint it only ever showed my BofA balances but doesn’t show the synced MLBO balance at all so connecting the two accounts together. Some users have reported everything magically imports correct after complaining for a day or two. Sure, anyone with access to your username and password can do anything you can do with your username and password. It appears the issues is most likely on Edward Jones' side of things and my guess is it has something to do with the way their username/password systems talk to each other. UPDATE: Ally is telling me that 'It is an issue on our end that we are aware of and are working on addressing.' I.
